Abstract

The present paper introduces BPI4BPMN, a tool allowing the implementation of the Business Process Improvement Patterns (BPIP) regrouping a list of patterns classified according the application context. The tool aims at facilitating the process of pattern creation, selection, and use based on the context chosen by the user. It was developed based on a pattern application process regrouping the steps needed to define, implement and apply a pattern. To validate the applicability of the developed tool, a demonstration related to the application of BPIPs was conducted on the process of treating COVID19 patients.
