Abstract

This paper presents an implementation of a low complexity Wavelet OFDM system based on Haar function. The idea of low complexity is the arrangement and the multistage calculations of Wavelet transform. It was shown that the number of multiplier and adder was reduced. The system consists of Matlab simulation and FPGA-based implementation. Simulink and hardware models presented are scalable to higher speed allowing possible implementation in electronic processors for advanced optical communications.
