Code of Ethics
The Journal has formulated a Statement of Ethics for authors, editors, and reviewers based on the guidelines and standards published by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), etc., and in accordance with its own practice.
About Authors
(1) Authors should be responsible for the authenticity of the paper, refrain from plagiarism, and ensure full participation in the research work; the use of any published research content and text in the paper should be clearly labeled with the source.
(2) Authorship is limited to those who have made significant contributions to the research. All authors need to unanimously agree to the publication of the paper and unanimously agree to submit the manuscript to the journal. Changing the order of authors, adding or deleting authors before publication should be agreed by all authors, and the relevant written application should be submitted to the editorial office in time and the consent form for the change of signature should be signed in order to ensure the rights of all authors. In principle, the journal does not accept the change of the first author and corresponding author, and does not accept the co-first author and co-corresponding author.
(3) Authors should ensure that the manuscript does not involve political, military, scientific and technological state secrets or sensitive issues that are not suitable for publication.
(4) Authors should not submit the same or highly repetitive manuscripts to more than one journal at the same time, and should not publish manuscripts describing the same research content in more than one journal, so as to eliminate multiple submissions or repetitive publications.
About the Editor
(1) The Editor shall handle each manuscript in a fair, impartial and timely manner, and shall make decisions on acceptance or rejection of manuscripts in accordance with the opinions of the Editorial Board and relevant regulations.
(2) The Editor shall observe the principle of confidentiality, and keep the information of authors and reviewers strictly confidential, and the contents of the paper confidential until it is published.
(3) The editors shall endeavor to ensure the independent evaluation by peer experts, and shall not be motivated by interests to interfere with peer evaluation, so as to ensure the fairness and impartiality of peer review.
(4) For reviewing experts recommended by authors, editors shall verify whether their reviewer information is true and decide whether to use the recommended reviewers based on the recommended experts' research fields and expertise, and whether there is any conflict of interest with the authors. If an author requests to recuse an expert from reviewing his/her manuscript and the request is reasonable, the editor shall honor it.
(5) Editors are responsible for avoiding academic misconduct such as multiple submissions, duplicate publications, plagiarism, etc., and should do at least three times of checking and reviewing at the stages of initial submission, decision on acceptance, and upcoming publication of the paper.
About Reviewers
(1) This journal is a double-blind peer-reviewed academic journal. The purpose of peer review is to assist the editorial board in making decisions on manuscript review and to help authors improve their papers. Before agreeing to review a manuscript, reviewers should ensure that they have the necessary expertise to review the manuscript and that they are able to provide fast, reasonable and fair conclusions. If a reviewer is deemed unsuitable to review a manuscript or is unable to ensure the timely provision of review comments, he or she should immediately notify the Editorial Office so that an alternative reviewer can be contacted.
(2) Reviewers should not agree to review a manuscript if they have any competing interests with the author (e.g., personal, financial, intellectual, professional, in their team or organization, political or religious).
(3) Reviewers should not delegate the review of a manuscript without the permission of the Editorial Board.
(4) Reviewers should not share data, arguments, or interpretations of a manuscript with anyone unless they have permission from the authors.
Handling of Academic Misconduct
The Journal always adheres to strict academic ethical standards and resolutely eliminates academic misconduct (e.g., duplication of papers, plagiarism, fabrication and falsification of experiments, data or content, etc.). If a paper involves any misbehavior, the editorial board will fully assist the relevant departments in the investigation. For academic misconduct with solid evidence, punitive measures will be taken such as blacklisting all authors, notifying the author's organization, withdrawing the paper, and pursuing the legal responsibility of the authors.
